my hermosa beach house

I live in Hermosa Beach, CA. I am ten blocks from the ocean. The house is a one bedroom, and can hold two adults with 2-3 kids on couches and floor in the living room. With a car you can access surf at : El Porto, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Jetty, The PV Cove, Malibu, Venice, Huntington Beach, San Onofre, Bolsa Chica, Haggerty's, and more. The only hassle with surf around Hermosa and Manhattan is that the cities make you pay for parking if you park close to the beach. It's cheap, but not so cool. We just deal with it...I live up a medium steep hill on a regular city street with a view of the ocean, so what I usually do is drive the car a little closer to the beach where parking is still free, but you can definately walk from the house to Hermosa Beach Pier and the Redondo Jetty. Santa Barbara and San Diego are roughly a two hour drive from LA. I am also an exhibiting artist (see www.benjunta.com and www.landseascapes.blogspot.com ) and am always looking for new places around the world to paint and exhibit my art.
